Representative Paul Thissen, Chair of the Health Care and Human Services Policy and Oversight Committee, called the meeting to order at 2:55 P.M. on Thursday, April 2, 2009 in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Hayden moved that the minutes of April 1, 2009 be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Thao moved the adoption of the SF29 division report. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

SF29*/HF53 (E. Murphy) Pharmacy practice provision changed in administering influenza vaccines

Representative Murphy moved that SF29, as adopted, be recommended to pass and re-referred to the General Register. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Thao moved the adoption of the SF230 division report. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

SF230*/HF240 (Norton) Licensure for physician assistants created

Representative Norton moved that SF230, as adopted, be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Committee on Finance.

Representative Norton moved the S0230DE1 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Norton renewed her motion that SF230, as amended, be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Committee on Finance. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Liebling assumed the gavel at 2:57 P.M.
