Representative Obermueller, Vice-Chair of the Bioscience and Workforce Development Policy and Oversight Division called the thirtieth meeting to order at 10:35 A.M. on March 9, 2010 in Room 200 of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Obermueller moved H.F. 3216 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Higher Education and Workforce Development Finance and Policy Division.
Representative Masin presented H.F. 3216, a bill
relating to economic development; requiring a report; creating a fast-action economic response team

Representative Obermueller renewed his motion that H.F. 3216 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Higher Education and Workforce Development Finance and Policy Division.

Representative Obermueller welcomed 8th and 9th grade students from Farmington’s Boeckman Middle School.
Representative Mahoney moved approval of the Minutes from the March 2 meeting.

Representative Obermueller moved H.F. 3119 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Higher Education and Workforce Development Finance and Policy Division
Representative Mullery presented H.F. 3119, a bill
relating to workforce training; appropriating money to the Minority Workforce Collaborative

Representative Obermueller laid H.F. 3119 over.
Representative Brynaert moved H.F.3324 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Higher Education and Workforce Development Finance and Policy Division.
Representative Brynaert presented H.F. 3324, a bill
expanding the Minnesota investment fund; removing a restriction on construction mitigation
pilot program grants.
