Representative Mahoney, Chair of the Bioscience and Workforce Development Policy and Oversight Division called the twenty-fourth meeting to order at 10:40 A.M. on April 7-, 2009 in Room 400N of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Winkler moved approval of the Minutes from the March 31, 2009 meeting.
MINUTES ARE APPROVED.

The Committee received a presentation from the Science Initiative of Central Minnesota. Testifying were:
