MINUTES

Representative Westrom, Chair of the Civil Law Committee, called the meeting to order at 12:33 pm on February 14, 2011, in Room 10 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

One member was excused.

A quorum was present.
Representative Mahoney moved that the minutes from February 8, 2011 be approved.
THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE MINUTES WERE ADOPTED.

HF 382 (Hoppe) Statutes amended regarding receiverships and assignments for the benefit of creditors.

Representative Hoppe moved that HF 382 be recommended to pass and be re-referred to the Judiciary Policy and Finance Committee.

Representative Hoppe renewed motion that HF 382 be recommended to pass and be re-referred to the Judiciary Policy and Finance Committee. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

The meeting was adjourned at 1:18 pm.
