MINUTES

Representative Drazkowski, Vice Chair of the Civil Law Committee, called the meeting to order at 12:38 PM on February 21, 2011 in Room 10 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

HF 396 (Wardlow) Minnesota Common Interest Ownership Act; clarifying, technical, and conforming changes made.


The committee heard testimony on HF 396.

A quorum was present.

Representative Wardlow renewed his motion that HF 396 be recommended to pass and sent to the General Register.

Representative Wardlow moved to adopt the H0396A1 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Wardlow moved that HF 396, as amended, be recommended to pass and sent to the General Register. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Chair Westrom assumed the gavel 12:50 pm.

HF 362 (Kahn) Common interest community unit owners allowed to obtain copies of association records.

Chair Westrom moved that HF 362 be recommended to pass and sent to the General Register.

Representative Hortman moved to adopt the HF362-DE1
The committee heard testimony on HF 362.

Chair Westrom renewed motion that HF 362, as amended, be recommended to pass and sent to the General Register. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 264 (Urdahl) Personal Responsibility in Food Consumption Act; certain persons immune from civil liability for weight gain as a result of food or non alcoholic beverage consumption.

Representative Drazkowski moved that HF 264 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Agriculture and Rural Development Policy and Finance Committee.

Representative Drazkowski renewed his motion that HF264 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Agriculture and Rural Development Policy and Finance Committee. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
