MINUTES
Representative Sanders, Vice- Chair of the Commerce and Regulatory Reform Committee, called the meeting to order at 2:36 pm on May 4, 2011, in the Basement hearing room of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Sanders moved HF1493 and recommended that it be laid over for possible inclusion in the liquor omnibus bill.

Chris Georgacas from Wirtz Beverage MN testified.
Representative Daudt moved the minutes from May 3, 2011 and moved an oral amendment to list Representative Kieffer and Representative Stensrud as excused. The motion prevailed.

David Gewold, President of Bellboy Wine and Spirits testified.
Quinn Cheeney from MN Wine and Spirits testified.
Tim Bevins from Tonka Bottle Shop testified.
Representative Sanders renewed his motion that HF1493 be laid over for possible inclusion in the liquor omnibus bill. The motion prevailed.
Representative Loon moved HF1395 and recommended that it be laid over.
Representative Loon moved amendment
H1395DE1. The motion prevailed. The amendment was adopted.
Bob Johnson from Insurance Federation of MN testified.
Kathleen Picard from American Physical Therapy Association - MN Chapter testified.
Kevin Goodno from Minnesota Chiropractic Association testified.
Representative Loon renewed her motion that HF1395 be laid over.
Representative Hoppe moved HF1394 as amended in the previous Commerce Committee.
Representative Atkins renewed his motion on amendment H1394A3.
Twila Brase from Citizens Council for Health Freedom testified.
Representative Atkins motion did not prevail. The amendment was not adopted.
Representative Hoppe renewed his motion on HF1394 as amended. The motion prevailed.
