MINUTES
A quorum was present and Representative Erickson, Chair of the Education Reform Committee, called the meeting to order at 8:18 AM on February 8, 2011, in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Chair Erickson moved that the minutes from the committee meeting on February 1, 2011, be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE MINUTES WERE APPROVED.
HF 206 (Dittrich) Permanent School Fund Advisory Committee membership modified.
Chair Erickson moved that the bill be recommended to pass and re-referred to the committee on Government Operations and Elections.
Chair Erickson moved the
H0206A1 amendment be inserted on page 1, line 24 of the bill. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
Representative Dittrich presented the bill and the committee heard testifiers for the bill.
Testifiers:

Grace Keliher, Director of Government Affairs, Minnesota School Boards Association
All testifiers stood for questions.
Chair Erickson renewed the motion that the bill, as amended, be recommended to pass and re-referred to the committee on Government Operations and Elections. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
