MINUTES
Representative Paul Torkelson, Vice-Chair of the Environment, Energy & Natural Resources Policy and Finance Committee, called the third meeting to order at 8:15 a.m. on January 13, 2011, in the Room 5 of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum wasn't present.
Mike Sandusky, Minnesota Pollution Control Agency and Nancy Rice, Minnesota Department of Health testified on the Report, "Options to Reduce and Phase-Out Priority Chemicals in Children’s Products and Promote Green Chemistry".
A quorum was present at 8:19 a.m.
Representative Quam moved that the minutes from the committee meeting on January 11, 2011 be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
Mike Harley and Ellen Gibson, Minnesota Environmental Initiative, testified on the Minnesota Chemical Regulation Project Overview.
Kathleen Shuler, Co-Director of Healthy Legacy, Andy Hackman, Toy Industry Association and Mike Robertson, Minnesota Chamber of Commerce testified on the joint state agency report on green chemistry.
The meeting was adjourned at 9:56 a.m.
