MINUTES
Representative Denny McNamara, Chair of the Committee on Environment, Energy and Natural Resources Policy and Finance called the nineteenth meeting to order at 8:15 a.m. on February 22, 2011, in Room 5 of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

H.F. 435 (Dittrich) Minnesota's permanent school trust land independent authority created for management, supervision, and administration.
H.F. 206 (Dittrich) Minnesota’s permanent school trust land independent authority created for management, supervision, and administration.
H.F. 207 (Dittrich) Mineral management cost payment prohibited from permanent school trust fun land proceeds, and money appropriated.
Representative Dittrich and Grace Kelliher, Minnesota School Board Association, presented H.F. 435, H.F. 206 and H.F. 207.
Representative Torkelson assumed the gavel at 9:14 a.m.
Representative McNamara assumed the gavel at 9:17 a.m.
Representative Rukavina, Larry Kramka, Assistant Commissioner of the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (D.N.R.) and Dan Roark, Attorney for the D.N.R., gave testimony on H.F. 435, H.F. 206 and H.F. 207.
Chair McNamara laid H.F. 435, H.F. 206 and H.F. 207 over.
H.F. 503 (Anderson, P) Land management activities exempted from contracting restrictions, and mission of the Department of Natural Resources modified.
Representative Anderson presented H.F. 503.
Tom Landwehr, Commissioner of the D.N.R, and Lyndon Anderson, citizen, testified on H.F. 503.
Chair McNamara laid H.F. 503 over.
Tom Landwehr, Commissioner of the D.N.R and Larry Kramka, Assistant Commissioner of the D.N.R. presented the agency’s budget.
Representative Hansen moved that the minutes from the committee meeting on February 17, 2011 be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
The meeting was adjourned at 10:04 a.m.
