MINUTES
Representative Denny McNamara, Chair of the Committee on Environment, Energy and Natural Resources Policy and Finance called the fifty-first meeting to order at 8:15 a.m. on February 14, 2012, in Room 5 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present at 8:16 a.m.

Margaret Bird, Utah State Office of Education, and Kevin Carter, Director of the State of Utah School and Institutional Trust Lands Administration gave an overview of School Trust Fund Land Management in the State of Utah.

H.F. 2095 (Fabian) Environmental permitting efficiency provided, and environmental review requirements modified.

Rep. Fabian presented H.F. 2095.

Tony Kwilas, MN Chamber of Commerce, Jeff Smith, MN Pollution Control Agency and Steve Morse, MN Environmental Partnership testified on H.F. 2095.

H.F. 2095 was laid over.

Representative Beard moved that the minutes from the committee meeting on February 9, 2012 be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

The meeting was adjourned at 10:00 a.m.
