MINUTES
Representative Murray, acting Chair of the Government Operations and Elections Committee, called the meeting to order at 10:17 a.m. on Wednesday, February 9, 2011 in Room 5 of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.
Representative Hornstein moved approval of the minutes from February 3, 2011 and February 8, 2011. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE MINUTES WHERE APPROVED.
H.F. 89 (Benson) voter picture identification required before receiving ballot, voter identification cards provided at no charge, and provisional ballot procedures established.
Representative Quam moved that H.F. 89 be recommended to pass and be re-referred to the House Committee on State Government Finance.

H.F. 203 (Westrom) Legislative approval required for certain rules to take effect.
Representative Hancock moved that H.F. 203 be recommended to pass and placed on the general register.
Representative Hancock moved the
H0203A2 amendment to H.F. 203. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
