MINUTES
Representative Peppin Chair of the Government Operations and Elections Committee, called the meeting to order at 10:25 a.m. on Tuesday, April 12, 2011 in Room 5 of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.
Representative Hancock moved approval of the minutes from April 7, 2011. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE MINUTES WERE APPROVED.
H.F. 1117 (O’Driscoll) Bond requirements for state depositories changed.
Representative O’Driscoll moved that H.F. 1117 be recommended to pass and placed on the General Register.

H.F. 1152 (Sanders) Pawnbrokers pledged goods return and location restrictions regulated.
Representative Sanders moved that H.F. 1152 be recommended to pass and placed on the General Register.
Representative Sanders moved the
H1152A2 amendment. Representative Sanders moved that the following change be incorporated into the H1152A2 amendment:
Page 1 Line 4, replace "8" with "10"
THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
Representative Scalze moved to amend H.F. 1152 as follows:
Page 2 Line 23, delete "7 and".
THE MOTION DID NOT PREVAIL AND THE AMENDMENT WAS NOT ADOPTED.

Representative Sanders renewed his motion that HF 1152 be recommended to pass, as amended, and placed on the General Register. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND HF 1152 WAS RECOMMENDED TO PASS AS AMENDED AND PLACED ON THE GENERAL REGISTER.
H.F. 745 (Mack) Autism Spectrum Disorder Task Force created, appointments provided, and development of a statewide strategic plan required.
Representative Murray moved that H.F. 745 be recommended to pass and placed on the General Register.
