MINUTES
Representative Peppin, Chair of the Government Operations and Elections Committee, called the fifty sixth meeting to order at 9:11 a.m. on Friday, March 9, 2012, in Room 5 of the State Office Building.

HF1993 (Barrett) Advisory council provision modified.
Chair Peppin moved that HF1993 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Health and Human Services Finance Committee.
The committee heard testimony on HF1993.

Representative Nelson moved that HF1517 be recommended to pass and sent to the General Register.
Representative Nelson moved the
H1517A1 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
The committee heard testimony on HF1517, as amended.

HF2589 (Peppin) Hennepin county; watershed districts required to get municipal approval before acquiring property in the municipality.
Chair Peppin moved that HF2589 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Environment, Energy and Natural Resources Policy and Finance Committee.
Chair Peppin moved the
H2589A1 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
