MINUTES
Representative Nornes, Chair of the Higher Education Policy and Finance Committee, called the meeting to order at 12:30 PM on March 20, 2012 in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.
Representative Banaian moved the minutes from the committee meeting on March 15, 2012 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
HF 2846 (Kahn) Student Advisory Council membership modified.
Representative Nornes moved that HF 2846 be heard and considered for possible inclusion in the Higher Education Omnibus Bill.

Representative Nornes moved that HF 2846, as amended, be laid over for possible inclusion in the Higher Education Omnibus Bill. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
HF 2880 (Mazorol) Student definition modified for purposed of the statement of immunization.
Representative Mazorol moves that HF 2880 be heard and considered for possible inclusion in the Higher Education Omnibus Bill.

Representative Norton moved to amend HF 2880 as follows:

The committee held an informational hearing on HF 2025 (Urdahl) Postsecondary enrollment options program expanded, and career and technical education task force established.
