MINUTES
Representative McFarlane, Vice Chair of the Jobs and Economic Development Finance Committee, called the meeting to order at 12:48 p.m. on March 24, 2011, in Room 10 of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Vice Chair Gunther moved HF 1049 (Jobs and Economic Development Omnibus Bill) back before committee.
Representative Murray moved approval of committee minutes of March 22, 2011. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
Chair Gunther moved the
H1049A1 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED, THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
Chair Gunther moved the
H1049A2 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED, THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
Representative Melin moved the
H1049A8 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS RULED OUT OF ORDER.

Representative Dill moved to orally amend amendment H1049A19 as follows:
Line 1.8 after Carver, add "Olmstead, Becker"

Representative Mahoney moved to refer HF1049 to the Tax Committee.
Representative Dill moved to lay HF1049 on the table in committee. THE MOTION DID NOT PREVAIL.
Representative Dill requested a Division vote.
There being 7 ayes and 10 nayes, THE MOTION DID NOT PREVAIL.
Representative Clark requested a roll call vote on Representative Mahoney's motion to refer HF1049 to the Tax Committee.
Roll Call taken on Representative Mahoney’s Motion to move HF1049 to the Tax Committee.
Voting Aye were: Representatives Clark, Dill, Mahoney, Melin, Mullery, Paymar, Scalze.
Voting Naye were: Representatives Gunther, Howes, Kieffer, Leidiger, LeMieur, McFarlane, Murray, Sanders, Stensrud, Swedzinski.
There being 7 ayes and 10 nayes, THE MOTION DID NOT PREVAIL.
Chair Gunther renewed his motion that HF1049 pass and be re-referred to the Ways and Means Committee. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
Representative Paymar requested a roll call vote on referring HF1049 to Ways and Means Committee.
Voting Naye were: Representatives Clark, Dill, Mahoney, Melin, Mullery, Paymar, Scalze.
Voting Aye were: Representatives Gunther, Howes, Kieffer, Leidiger, LeMieur, McFarlane, Murray, Sanders, Stensrud, Swedzinski.
There being 10 ayes and 7 nayes, THE MOTION DID NOT PREVAIL.
