Representative Melin moved approval of committee minutes of February 28, 2012. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
HF2277 (Mahoney) New jobs tax credit established, corporate franchise and sales and use taxes changes made, and money appropriated.
Representative Mahoney discussed HF2277.
Testifying on behalf of the Governor was Kathy Tunheim, Jobs Advisor, Commissioner of Mn Department of Revenue Myron Frans, and Ben Kyriagis from Small Business Minnesota.
Representative Mahoney renewed his motion that HF2277 pass, and be re-referred to the Tax Committee without recommendation. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
HF2186 (Fritz) Minnesota investment fund money appropriated.
Chair Gunther moved HF2186 before committee to be laid over.
Representative Fritz discussed HF2186.
Testifying on behalf of HF2186 was Mark Phillips, Commissioner of Mn Department of Employment and Economic Development.
Chair Gunther renewed his motion that HF2186 be laid over in committee.
HF2429 (Mazorol) Technology corporate franchise tax certificate transfer program established.
Vice Chair McFarlane moved HF2429 before committee.

HF2181 (Brynaert) FastTRAC adult career pathway program created, and money appropriated.
Chair Gunther moved HF2181 before committee.

Testifying on behalf of HF2181 was Commissioner Mark Phillips from Mn Department of Employment and Economic Development, and Karen Wolters, ABE Transitions Coordinator from Mankato Area Adult Basic Education.

HF2185 (Scalze) Economic development funding provided, transportation economic development program established, bonds authorized, and money appropriated.
