PUBLIC SAFETY AND CRIME PREVENTION POLICY AND FINANCE COMMITTEE

MINUTES

Representative Cornish, Chair of the Public Safety and Crime Prevention Policy and Finance Committee, called the twenty-first meeting to order at 10:15 a.m. on Thursday, March 3, 2011, in Room 10 of the State Office Building.

HF0506 (Shimanski) Fourth-degree assault crime and the assaulting a police horse crime expanded to provide more protection to law enforcement assistants.

The committee heard testimony on HF0506.

Representative McDonald moved that the minutes of March 2, 2011, be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Leidiger moved that HF0506 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Judiciary Policy and Finance Committee.

Representative Leidiger renewed his motion that HF0506 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Judiciary Policy and Finance Committee. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
