MINUTES
Representative Cornish, Chair of the Public Safety and Crime Prevention Policy and Finance Committee, called the twenty-fifth meeting to order at 10:14 a.m. on Tuesday, March 15, 2011, in Room 10 of the State Office Building.
Vice Chairman Woodard assumed the gavel at 10:15 a.m.
HF0006 (Cornish) Criminal sexual conduct in the first degree penalty increased.
Representative Cornish introduced HF0006.

Representative Leidiger moved that the minutes of March 14, 2011, be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
Representative Cornish moved that HF0006 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Judiciary Policy and Finance Committee.
The committee heard testimony on HF0006.

HF0439 (Smith) Consecutive sentences for assaults committed by state prison inmates provision clarified.
Representative Smith moved that HF0439 be laid over for possible inclusion in an omnibus bill.
Representative Smith gave testimony on HF0439.
Representative Smith renewed his motion that HF0439 be laid over for possible inclusion in an omnibus bill.
HF0447 (Kelly) Investigation, review, and hearing governing provisions modified, crime of criminal abuse of a vulnerable adult made a registrable offense under the predatory offender registration law, terminology changed, criminal penalty increased for assaulting a vulnerable adult, and criminal penalties provided.
Representative Kelly moved that HF0447 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Judiciary Policy and Finance Committee.
