MINUTES

Representative Cornish, Chair of the Public Safety and Crime Prevention Policy and Finance Committee, called the twenty-ninth meeting to order at 10:14 a.m. on Wednesday, March 23, 2011, in Room 10 of the State Office Building.

The committee continued to hear public testimony on H0853DE3, the public safety omnibus finance bill.

Representative Kriesel moved that the minutes of March 22, 2011, be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Public testimony continued on H0853DE3, the public safety omnibus finance bill.

Public testimony ended at 11:34 a.m., after all persons who had signed up to provide public testimony had testified.

Chairman Cornish offered the H0853A1 amendment. Deputy Commissioner David Crist, Department of Corrections, testified on the amendment. Chairman Cornish moved the H0853A1 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Moran offered the H0853A2 amendment. Commissioner Kevin Lindsey, Department of Human Rights, testified on the amendment. Representative Moran moved the H0853A2 amendment and requested a roll call vote. The results were as follows:

Representative Mullery moved the H0853A10 amendment and requested a roll call vote. The results were as follows:
