Representative Cornish, Chair of the Public Safety and Crime Prevention Policy and Finance Committee, called the thirty-fourth meeting to order at 10:18 a.m. on Wednesday, April 27, 2011, in Room 10 of the State Office Building.

Representative Gauthier moved that the minutes of April 26, 2011, be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
HF1289 (Mack) Buses provisions modified authorizing the use of highway shoulders.
Chairman Cornish moved that HF1289 be recommended to pass and sent to the General Register.

Representative Cornish moved to orally amend HF1577: line 2.10, add "in consultation with local corrections associations". THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
