MINUTES
Representative Cornish, Chair of the Public Safety and Crime Prevention Policy and Finance Committee, called the forty-eighth meeting to order at 10:18 a.m. on Wednesday, February 29, 2012, in Room 10 of the State Office Building.
A quorum was present.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Gauthier moved that the minutes of February 28, 2012, be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
HF2080 (Daudt) MFIP ineligibility, sanctions, time limit, and exit level modified. HF2080 was heard in the House Health and Human Services Reform Committee on February 22, 2012. This hearing will be limited to the criminal background study contained in Sections 6 and 7 of the bill.
Representative Daudt moved that HF2080 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Health and Human Services Finance Committee.
The committee heard testimony on HF2080.

Representative Daudt moved the
H2080A2 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
Representative Daudt renewed his motion that HF2080, as amended, be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Health and Human Service Finance Committee. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
Representative Woodard assumed the gavel at 10:24 a.m.
HF2373 (Cornish) Felony of fraudulent or other improper finance statements extended to include retaliation against a sheriff or county recorder for performance of official duties regarding real property.
Representative Cornish moved that HF2373 be recommended to pass and sent to the General Register.
The committee heard testimony on HF2373.
