MINUTES
Representative Sarah Anderson, Chair of the Redistricting Committee, called the meeting to order at 11:00 AM on February 18, 2011 in the Hermantown City Hall.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Murphy welcomed the audience to the redistricting meeting
Committee members were introduced.
Chairman Anderson provided introductory remarks and a brief overview of the redistricting process.
Presentation by Matt Gehring, House Research. Presentation on City and County Redistricting, and Demographic Shifts in North Eastern Minnesota.
Presentation by Drew Digby, DEED Regional Analyst. Presentation on Labor Force and Economic Changes in Northeast Minnesota from 2000 to 2010.
Presentation by Sandy Layman, presentation on economic development in the Iron Range.
