MINUTES
Representative Lanning, Chair of the State Government Finance Committee, called the meeting to order at 8:15 a.m. on March 2, 2011, in Room 200 of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.
Representative Banaian moved that the minutes from the committee meeting on February 28, 2011, be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
Representative Anderson moved that the minutes from the committee meeting on March 1, 2011, be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
Acting Commissioner Dan Salamone; Dan Ostdiek, Chief Financial officer; and Terri Steenblock, Assistant commissioner for Individual Income Tax presented a budget overview of the Department of Revenue.
Chair Lanning moved HF 174.
Representative Joyce Peppin and John Dolejsi, Government Account Executive for Minnesota and Wisconsin at the SAS Institute testified on HF 174.
Representative Kahn moved that HF 174 be amended as follows: Page 2, Line 3, before the word, "responses" insert "reasonable." THE MOTION PREVAILED.
Rich Neumeister testified on HF 174.
Chair Lanning laid over HF 174 for possible inclusion in the State Government Finance omnibus bill.
The meeting was adjourned at 10:04 a.m.
