MINUTES
Representative Lanning, Chairman of the State Government Finance Committee, called the meeting to order at 8:18 a.m. on March 20, 2012, in Room 200 of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

HF2426 (Dettmer) Peace Officer's Memorial repair money appropriated
Chairman Lanning moved that HF2426 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Ways and Means Committee.
The committee heard testimony on HF2426.

HF1821 (Dettmer) Small business set-aside program changed for veteran-owned small businesses, county set-aside programs authorized for veteran-owned small businesses, and reporting requirements changed.

HF1607 (Woodard) State Patrol authorized to provide security and protection to certain government officials, and capitol complex security committee established.
Chairman Lanning moved that HF1607 be recommended to pass and sent to the General Register.

HF2875 (Kiel) Grant management provisions changed, and control and oversight changed for the film production jobs programs to the commissioner of administration.
Chairman Lanning moved that HF2875 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Legacy Funding Division.

H2458A6: line 1.5 delete "or federal". THE ORAL AMENDMENT TO THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
Representative Simon moved the H2458A6 amendment, as amended. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
The committee heard testimony on HF2458, as amended.
