MINUTES
Representative Bruce Anderson, Chair of the Veterans Services Division Committee, called the meeting to order at 12:32 p.m. on Monday, February 13, 2012, in the basement hearing room of the State Office Building.

Representative Kriesel moved that the minutes of January 30, 2012, be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
HF1948 (Urdahl) Motor vehicle sales tax exemption provided on a portion of the value of a motor vehicle purchased abroad during military service outside the United States.
Representative LeMieur moved that HF1948 be passed and re-referred to the Transportation Policy and Finance Committee.
The committee heard testimony on HF1948.

HF1452 (Dettmer) Tax credit for past military service eligibility modified.
Representative Dettmer moved that HF1452 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Taxes Committee.

Representative Dettmer moved to orally amend HF1452: line 2.4 delete "2010" and insert "2011". THE ORAL AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

HF1820 (Dettmer) Income based reduction eliminated.
Representative Dettmer moved that HF1820 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Taxes Committee.

Representative Davids moved that HF2139 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Taxes Committee.
