MINUTES
Representative Bruce Anderson, Chair of the Veterans Services Division Committee, called the meeting to order at 12:32 p.m. on Monday, March 12, 2012, in the basement hearing room of the State Office Building.

Representative Davids moved that the minutes of March 5, 2012, be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
HF2601 (Hancock) Bemidji; Northern Minnesota Veterans Home funding provided, bonds issued, and money appropriated.
Representative Persell moved that HF2601 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the State Government Finance Committee.
The committee heard testimony on HF2061.

HF2640 (Dettmer) Pay differential law amended as it applies to school district employees who are members of the National Guard or any other reserve unit.
Representative Dettmer moved that HF2640 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Education Finance Committee.
Representative Dettmer moved to orally amend HF2640: line 3.17 delete "in any fiscal year". THE ORAL AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
