MINUTES
Representative Davids, Chair of the Taxes Committee, called the meeting to order at 10:15 AM on February 10, 2011, in Room 200 of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Four members were excused. Representative Downey, Representative Lenczweski, Representative Paymar, Representative Rukavina.
A quorum was not present.
Chair Davids moved HF258 before the committee for testimony only until a quorum was present.
Testifier for HF258:
OJ Doyle, Lobbyist, Minnesota Ambulance Association.
Chair Davids moved HF394 to be laid over for possible inclusion in the Taxes Omnibus bill.
Representative Howes presented HF394.
A quorum was present: 10:19AM.
Representative Crawford moved to approve the minutes dated February 9, 2011. Motion prevailed: Minutes are approved.
Chair Davids moved oral amendment for HF394 to read as follows:
1.8: Delete "and data"
1.12: Delete "and data" leave in systems
2.34: Delete "and data" leave in systems
Motion Prevailed. The oral amendment is adopted.
Chair Davids renewed his motion that HF394, as amended, pass and be laid over for possible inclusion in the Taxes Omnibus bill. Motion Prevailed.
Chair Davids moved HF258 to pass and be referred to the General Register.
Chair Davids moved the oral amendment to read as follows:
After page 1 line 23, insert section 2: amending Minn. Stat. 2010, section 270A.07 subdivision 1, striking paragraph C and renumbering sections in sequence and correcting the internal references and adding an effective date, and amending the title.
Chair Davids withdrew his oral amendment.
Chair Davids moved the
H0258A1 amendment. Motion prevailed. The amendment is adopted.
Chair Davids renewed his motion that HF258, as amended, be referred to the General Register. Motion prevailed.
