Representative Davids, Chair of the Taxes Committee, called the meeting to order at 10:15am on January 18th, 2011 in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

The House Research continued their overview on the Minnesota tax system from January 13th, 2011.
Representative Davnie moved to approve the minutes from the committee meeting on January 13th, 2011. MOTION PREVAILED: Minutes are approved.
Representative Gottwalt moved to reconsider minutes from January 11th, 2011 meeting. Representative Gottwalt then moved to amend the date on the minutes. MOTION PREVAILED: Minutes are amended and approved with corrections.
Representative Tim Mahoney provided an overview of his soon to be introduced bill concerning Minnesota Science and Technology program.
Chair Davids moved HF79, Dependent health care coverage to adult children through age 26 for tax year 2010 federal extension conformed before the Taxes Committee.
