Representative Davids, Chair of the Taxes Committee, called the meeting to order at 10:15 a.m. on February 14, 2012, in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

Joel Michael of House Research gave a summary of HF 1914.
HF 1914 (Davids) Commercial-industrial properties first $100,000 in value exempted from the state general levy, commercial-industrial property state general levy phased out over 20 years, seasonal recreational property state general levy frozen, maximum homeowner property tax refunds increased, special property tax refund temporary increase provided, and money appropriated.
A quorum was present at 10:19 a.m.
Representative Carlson moved to approve the minutes dated February 9, 2012. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE MINUTES WERE APPROVED.
