MINUTES
Representative Beard, Chair of the Transportation Policy and Finance Committee, called the meeting to order at 10:08 A.M. on Monday, April 18, 2011, in Room 5 of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Shimanksi moved that the minutes from the committee meeting on April 13, 2011 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
HF210 (Kiffmeyer) Voter picture identification required before receiving a ballot, identification cards provided at no charge, provisional ballot procedures established, election administration procedures specified, electronic polling place required, recount procedures enacted, and money appropriated.
Representative Vogel moved that HF210 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the committee on Ways and Means.

Representative Champion moved the HRD3 amendment to HF210 as follows:
Page 6, delete line 7 and insert:

Representative Vogel renewed his motion that HF210 be recommended to pass, as amended, and re-referred to the Committee on Ways and Means.
Representative Champion moved an amendment to that motion and moved that HF210 be recommended to pass, as amended, and re-referred to the Committee on Civil Law. THE MOTION DID NOT PREVAIL.

HF1310 (Shimanski) Overweight vehicle permit provisions modified, provision governing medical waiver to operate commercial vehicle in intrastate commerce modified, obsolete language removed and clarifying changes made.
