Representative Hausman, Chair of Committee on Capital Investment, called the meeting to order at 8:15 A.M. on Thursday, February 21, 2013 in Room 200 of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.
Commissioner Mary Tingerthal, Minnesota Housing Finance Agency, gave an overview on Housing Infrastructure and General Obligation bonds in relation to their agency.
Commissioner Lucinda Jesson, Department of Human Services, gave an overview on St. Peter Security Hospital.
Chief Financial and Operating Officer Chuck Johnson, Department of Human Services, gave a presentation on the St. Peter Security Hospital budget request.
Tonja Orr, Asst. Commissioner for Policy and Community Development, MHFA, answered questions of committee members regarding Commissioner Tingerthal's presentation.
Patrick Connelly and Kirstin Anderson of Lutheran Social Service spoke to the issue of available housing needs and solutions throughout the state.
Lee Blonz, Executive Director of Portico Collaborative spoke about affordable housing as a solution to end homelessness.
Mr. John Lundberg, Vice President of Ebenezer spoke about senior housing and in particular, the Ebenezer Tower Apartments in Minneapolis.
Rep. Mahoney MOVED approval of the minutes for February 12, 2013. The MOTION PREVAILED.
The meeting was adjourned at 9:55 A.M..
