MINUTES

Representative Atkins, Chair of Committee on Commerce and Consumer Protection Finance and Policy, called the meeting to order at 4:00 PM January 23, 2013 in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Rep. Sundin moved that the minutes from the meeting on Jan 22, 2013 be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Rep. Fritz assumed the gavel

HF 5 (Atkins) Minnesota Insurance Marketplace established, powers and duties prescribed, legislative appointments provided, and money appropriated.

Rep. Atkins moved HF5 be recommended to pass as amended and re-referred to the Committee on Government Operations.
