MINUTES
Representative Mullery, Chair of Committee on Early Childhood and Youth Development Policy, called the meeting to order at 4:14 PM on Tuesday, March 18, 2014 in Room 5 of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Brynaert moved the approval of the minutes for Thursday, March 13, 2014. THE MOTION PASSED. THE MINUTES WERE APPROVED.
Representative Brynaert moved that HF 2691 be re-referred to the committee on K-12 Education Finance.
Chair Mullery moved to amend HF 2691 (See attached
H2691A1). THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
Representative Newton presented HF 2691, as amended (Newton); Early learning scholarship evaluation report due date established.

Chair Mullery moved that H2691A1 -previously adopted- be withdrawn from HF 2691. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS WITHDRAWN FROM HF 2691.
Representative Brynaert renewed her motion that HF 2691 be re-referred to the committee on K-12 Education Finance. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
Chair Mullery moved that HF 1106 be re-referred to the committee on Health and Human Services Policy.
Chair Mullery moved to amend HF 1106 (See attached
H1106DE1). THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
Representative Allen presented HF 1106, as amended (Allen); Child protection screening work group established for the purpose of establishing consistency in child protection screening.

Representative Mullery moved that HF 2921 be re-referred to the committee on K-12 Education Finance.
Representative Mullery presented HF 2921 (Mullery); Success for All program established, and money appropriated.
