Representative Marquart, Chair of the Joint Committee on Education Finance, called the meeting to order at 8:19 AM, January 23, 2013 in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

Minnesota Department of Education officials (Brenda Cassellius, Commissioner and Tom Melcher, Program Finance Director) presented the Governor's Fiscal Years 2014-15 education budget. Committee members' questions and comments were addressed throughout the presentation.

The meeting was adjourned at 9:56 AM.
