Representative Mariani, Chair of Committee on Education Policy, called the meeting to order at 10:03 A.M. February 27, 2014 in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Chair Mariani moved that HF1964 be referred to the General Registry.
Rep. Murphy presented HF1964 (Murphy M.); Charter Schools located in townships and admitting students pre-K through grade 6 enrollment preferences clarified.
The following people offered testimony on HF1964:

Chair Mariani moves to amend his previous motion that HF1964 be referred to the General Registry to move that HF1964 be laid over for possible inclusion in an omnibus policy bill.
Chair Mariani moved that HF2010 be referred to the General Registry.
Rep. Slocum presented HF2010 (Slocum.); Charter School approval provisions modified.
