Representative Mariani, Chair of Committee on Education Policy, called the meeting to order at 9:08 AM, March 7, 2014 in Room 10 of the State Office Building.

Chair Mariani moved that H.F. 2396 be re-referred to the Committee on Health and Human Services.
Rep. Morgan presented H.F. 2396 (Morgan) Military members license processing expedition required for state agencies and professional licensing boards required, temporary licensure provided, and rulemaking authorized.
Rep. Morgan moved to amend H.F. 2396 (see attached amendment
H2396A1) THE MOTION DID NOT PREVAIL. THE AMENDMENT WAS NOT ADOPTED.
Rep. Morgan renewed his motion that H.F. 2396 be re-referred to the Committee on Health and Human Services. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
Rep. Bly moved that H.F. 2683 be referred to the General Register.
Rep. Bly presented H.F. 2683 (Bly) Intervention requirement response established, and committee established to review statewide testing.

Rep. Selcer presented HF2283 (Selcer) Teachers; advisory task force on better aligning Minnesota's alternative teacher professional pay system and teacher evaluation program established.
