Representative Simon, Chair of Committee on Elections, called the meeting to order at 12:30 pm on March 7, 2013 in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.
Rep. Laine moved approval of minutes from the March 5, 2013 meeting. The motion prevailed.
HF664 (Laine) Campaign finance and public disclosure law changed, and definition of public official expanded.
Rep. Laine moved HF664 be recommended to pass and placed on the General Register.

Rep. Laine renewed motion that HF664 be recommended to pass and be placed on the General Register. The motion prevailed.
HF979 (Halverson) Elections procedures modified, election administration modified, ballot formatting modified, and timelines adjusted.
Rep. Halverson moved that HF979 be recommended to pass and be placed on the General Register.
Rep. Halverson moved adoption of
H0979A1 amendment. The motion was adopted.
Rep. Sanders assumed chair at 12:47pm.

HF863 (Winkler) Campaign finance additional disclosure provided for, and various changes made to campaign finance and public disclosure law.
Rep. Winkler moved that HF863 be recommended to pass and be referred to the Committee on Judiciary.
