MINUTES
Representative Wagenius, Chair of the Committee on Environment, Natural Resources, and Agriculture Finance, called the meeting to order at 8:18 a.m., Tuesday, February 5th 2013 in Room 5 of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.
Sarah Strommen, Assistant Director, Minnesota Board of Water and Soil Resources, gave a presentation on the Clean Water Fund and answered question from members of the Committee.
John Jaschke, Executive Director, Minnesota Board of Water and Soil Resources, addressed the committee, gave a presentation on the Clean Water Fund and answered questions from members of the Committee.
Representative Falk moved adoption of the committee meeting minutes for January 31st. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
The meeting recessed at 9:45 a.m.

Lee Ehmke, Director, Chief Executive Officer, Minnesota Zoo gave a presentation on the zoo's revenue, budget, expenditures, and funding. During the presentation he answered questions from members of the Committee.
Mary Robinson, Chief Financial Officer, Minnesota Zoo, was available for questions.
Len Price, Executive Director, Conservation Corps Minnesota, addressed the Committee and presented the Conservation Corps Minnesota's July 1, 2011 - June 30, 2012 "Report to Minnesota State Legislature on State Appropriations" and answered questions from members of the Committee.
Also testifying for Conservation Corps Minnesota:
Dakota Faust, a member of the Conservation Corps Minnesota.
Heron Lopez, a member of the Conservation Corps Minnesota.
Members of the committee commented on the testimony.
John Jaschke, Executive Director, Minnesota Board of Water and Soil Resources, continued with the budget overview, discussed soil and water conservation, and drainage, and answered questions from the members of the Committee.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:16 p.m.
