MINUTES

Representative Nelson, Chair of Committee on Government Operations, called the meeting to order at 2:49pm on April 17, 2013 in Room 5 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Lien moved approval of the minutes from April 10, 2013. THE MINUTES WERE APPROVED.

HF1769 (Fischer) Legislative Water Commission created, powers and duties prescribed, and legislative appointments provided

Chair Nelson moved that HF1769 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Committee on Rules and Legislative Administration.

Chair Nelson moved to amend HF1769 (See attached H1769A2 amendment). THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Drazkowski moved to amend HF1769, as amended, as follows:

Page 1, line 1.22, delete "State employees subject."
Page 1, delete lines 1.23 to 1.24

Chair Nelson moved that HF1740 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Committee on Rules and Legislative Administration.

Chair Nelson moved to amend HF1740 (See attached H1740A1 amendment). THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Chair Nelson moved to amend HF1740 (See attached H1740A2 amendment). THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF1775 (Kahn) Natural resources commissioner rulemaking authority modified

Representative Kahn moved that HF1775 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Committee on Rules and Legislative Administration.

Representative Kahn moved to amend HF1775 (See attached H1775A1 amendment).

Representative Hansen offered an oral amendment to be incorporated into the H1775A1 amendment as follows:

Page 1, line 1.22, reinstate “development",
Page 1, line 1.22, after “development", insert “and"

Representative Kahn incorporated the oral amendment into the H1775A1 amendment.

Vice Chair Freiberg assumed the gavel at 4:44pm.

Chair Nelson moved that HF1765 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Committee on Commerce and Consumer Protection Finance and Policy.

Chair Nelson moved to amend HF1765 (See attached H1765DE1 amendment). THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative O’Driscoll moved to amend H1765, as amended, as follows:
