Thomas Huntley of the House Health Care and Human Services Finance Committee chaired the meeting and called it to order at 6:07 p.m. on Tuesday, January 15, 2013, in Room 10 of the State Office Building. A quorum was present.

Scott Leitz, Assistant Commissioner, Department of Human Services gave an overview of the Affordable Care Act and discussion followed.

Peter Brickwedde of the Department of Commerce and Karen Gibson of the Department of Human Services also came to the table to respond to questions of members.

Chair Huntley adjourned the meeting at 7:58 p.m.
