Chair Thomas Huntley called the third meeting of the Health Care and Human Services Finance Committee to order at 10:06 a.m. on Thursday, January 17, 2013, in Room 200 of the State Office Building. A quorum was present.

Vice-chair Norton moved approval of the January 15 and 16 minutes. The motion prevailed. The minutes were approved.

Department of Human Services gave overviews of their issue areas as follows:

Loren Colman, Assistant Commissioner, Continuing Care Administration (CCA)
Anne Barry, Deputy Commissioner, Operations; MN Sex Offender Program (MSOP); and
State Operated Services (SOS)
Dave Hartford, Assistant Commissioner, Chemical and Mental Health
Ralph McQuarter, Program Manager, Children and Family Services
Scott Leitz, Assistant Commissioner, Health Care

Discussion followed.

Chair Huntley adjourned the meeting at 12 noon.
