Representative Liebling, Chair of Committee on Health and Human Services Policy, called the meeting to order at 2:20 PM March 19, 2013 in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

Representative Allen presented information on HF1115 (Allen) Medical Practice Act changes made.

Representative Allen moved that HF1115 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the General Register.
Representative Allen moved that amended
H1115A2 be adopted. Motion prevailed. Amendment adopted.

Representative Allen renewed her motion that HF1115 be recommended to pass as amended and placed on the General Register. Motion prevailed.
Representative Gruenhagen moved that the minutes of March 14 and March 15 be approved. Motion prevailed. Minutes approved.
Representative Schoen moved that HF1002 (Schoen) Criminal background check process established for individuals licensed by the health-related licensing boards and commissioner of health, and money appropriated, be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Civil Law Committee.

Representative Schoen renewed his motion that HF1002 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Civil Law Committee. Motion prevailed.
Representative Fritz moved that HF256 (Fritz) Minnesota Family Investment Program family cap repealed, be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Health and Human Services Finance Committee.
Representative Fritz presented information on HF256.
