HIGHER EDUCATION FINANCE AND POLICY COMMITTEE
MINUTES

Representative Gene Pelowski, Chair of the Committee on Higher Education Finance and Policy, called the meeting to order at 12:30 PM on March 18, 2013, in Room 5 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Dorholt moved that the minutes of March 13, 2013, be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE MINUTES WERE APPROVED.

The Minnesota State Colleges and Universities (MnSCU) continued its overview of its 2014-2015 biennial budget request.

An informational hearing and presentation was given on HF 437 (Pelowski) Governor's budget for higher education established; money appropriated to the Office of Higher Education, the Board of Trustees of the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities, the Board of Regents of the University of Minnesota, and the Mayo Clinic.
