Representative Clark, Chair of Committee on Housing Finance and Policy, called the eighth meeting to order at 12:40pm on 2/13/2013 in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.
Representative Green moved that the minutes of Wednesday, February 6, 2013 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE MINUTES WERE APPROVED.
HF83 (Freiberg) Military service member notice of rights required, lender required to provide a single point of contact, mortgage lender prohibited from beginning or continuing a foreclosure proceeding while considering a request by a borrower for a mortgage modification, and mortgage lender required to participate in and pay for mediation if the borrower requests mediation.
Chair Clark moved that HF83 be recommended to pass and be re-referred to the Committee on Civil Law.
Chair Clark moved to amend HF83. (See attached amendment
H0083DE6). THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
Chair Clark moved to amend HF83 as amended. (See attached amendment H0083A9). THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
