MINUTES

Representative Mahoney, Chair of Committee on Jobs and Economic Development Finance and Policy, called the meeting to order at 12: 33 PM, Tuesday, March 5, 2013 in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll; and a quorum was present.

Chair Mahoney moved HF 922 (Mahoney) for possible inclusion on the Jobs Omnibus bill.

Testifier: Bernie Hess

Chair Mahoney renewed his motion to lay over HF 922 for possible inclusion on the Jobs Omnibus bill.

MN DEED presentation on Governor's Job Creation Fund. Commissioner Katie Clark Sieben, and Kevin McKinnon, Executive Director of Business Community Development.

Testifiers: Lorrie Louder, St. Paul Port Authority; David Collins, Park Rapids & Hubbard County.

Rep. Savick moved HF3 to be laid over for possible inclusion on the Jobs Omnibus bill.

Testifiers: Commissioner Katie Clark Sieben; Mark Navinsky, Community Development Director, Coon Rapids; Bruce Lymon, Chart Industries; and Kevin McKinnon.

Rep. Savick renewed the motion to lay over HF3 for possible inclusion on the Jobs Omnibus bill.

Chair Mahoney adjourned the meeting at 2:00 PM.
