Representative Hilstrom, Chair of Committee on Judiciary Finance and Policy, called the meeting to order at 2:16 PM on February 20, 2013 in Room 10 of the State Office Building.

HF 212 (Yarusso) Timely filing for appeals from orders provisions modified.
Chair Hilstrom moved that HF212 be recommended to pass and be re-referred to the Committee on Taxes.
Ben Wagner, Attorney, Regan Tax Law, and Mike O'Brien, Attorney, Regan Tax Law, testified in favor of HF212.
Chair Hilstrom renewed her motion that HF212 be recommended to pass and be re-referred to the Committee on Taxes. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF440 (Hilstrom) State Guardian Ad Litem Board provisions modified.
Chair Hortman moved that HF440 be recommended to pass and be re-referred to the General Register.
Suzanne Alliegro, Program Administrator, GAL Board, testified in favor of HF440. Dale Nathan, retired lawyer, and Bonnie Roy also testified in favor of HF440.

HF369 (Freiberg) Uniform Community Property Rights at Death Act adopted.
Chair Hortman moved that HF369 be recommended to pass and be re-referred to the General Register.
