Representative Hilstrom, Chair of Committee on Judiciary Finance and Policy, called the meeting to order at 8:34 a.m. on Friday May 10, 2013 in the basement of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

HF 1139 (Liebling), Prevention of sexual violence working group provided for, Minnesota sex offender program provisions modified, sexual violence prevention demonstration grants provided for, Civil Commitment Act modified, report provided for, and money appropriated.
The following people testified regarding HF 1139:
Eric Magnuson, former Chief Justice of the Minnesota Supreme Court
Lucinda Jesson, Commissioner of the Minnesota Department of Health
Donna Dunn, Executive Director of the Minnesota Coalition Against Sexual Assault
Rep. Drazkowski requested a roll call on HF 1139.
Rep. Hilstrom moved to amend HF 1139 with the
H1139A6 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
Rep. Melin assumed the gavel.

The committee recessed at 9:45 a.m.
