Representative Sheldon Johnson, Chair of the Labor, Workplace, and Regulated Industries Committee, called the meeting to order at 8:15 A.M. on February 21, 2013, in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building.

Representative Fischer moved that the minutes of February 20, 2013 be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
HF 588 (Atkins) Hospitals required to provided staffing at levels consistent with nationally accepted standards, and staff level reporting required.
Representative Johnson moved that HF 588 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the committee on Government Operations.
