MINUTES

Representative Sheldon Johnson, Chair of the Labor, Workplace, and Regulated Industries Committee, called the meeting to order at 9:30 A.M. on April 15, 2013, in Room 118 of the State Capitol.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

Representative Simonson moved that the minutes of March 20, 2013 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF1765 (Nelson) Labor peace agreements required for receipt of public funds.

Representative Nelson moved that HF 1765 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Committee on Rules and Legislative Administration with a recommended re-referral to the Committee on Government Operations.

Representative Nelson moved that HF 1765 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Committee on Rules and Legislative Administration with a recommended re-referral to the Committee on Government Operations.

HF 985 (Johnson) Telecommunications enforcement authority clarified, new requirements for tariffs added, proprietary information protected, criteria for certificates of authority specified, alternative regulation plans terminated, definitions added, technical corrections made, obsolete provisions removed, and conforming changes made.

Chair Johnson moved that HF 985 be laid over for consideration in the 2014 Legislative Session.
