Representative Paymar, Chair of Committee on Public Safety Finance and Policy, called the meeting to order at 10:03 a.m. Tuesday, March 19th, 2013. in Room 10 of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

H.F. 142 (Kieffer) Criminal sexual conduct offender penalties enhanced.
Rep. Kieffer moved that H.F. 142 be recommended to pass and be re-referred to the Committee on Judiciary Finance and Policy. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
H.F. 790 (Johnson, S.) Conditional release terms clarified.
Chair Paymar moved that H.F. 790 be recommended to pass and be placed on the General Register.

H.F. 237 (Paymar) Pistol and semiautomatic military-style assault weapon transfer and firearm possession eligibility provisions modified, and criminal penalties provided.
Rep. Paymar moved that H.F. 237 be recommended to pass and be re-referred to the Committee on Judiciary Finance and Policy.
Rep. Paymar moved to amend H.F. 237 as follows: (see attached; coded
H0237DE5). THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
